Financial security and development
Secure your personal economy and develop your career with CA a-kasse while working in Denmark.
What is an 'a‑kasse'? The Danish word ‘a‑kasse’ is an abbreviation for ‘arbejdsløshedskasse’ and means unemployment insurance fund. Most professions and trades have their own specialised a‑kasse. When you join (become a member of) the a‑kasse, you are guaranteed an amount of regular income if you become unemployed. So the a‑kasse can give you time to look for the right job, pay your bills – and in fact help you to find a job.
An a‑kasse is financed by the Danish state, and out of your monthly membership fee of DKK 415,50 a total of DKK 306 goes directly to the state and to ATP (the supplementary pension scheme). The a‑kasse receives an administrative fee for providing you with the service.
What can we do for you? The CA a‑kasse offers a wide range of services free of charge which can help you keep a foothold in the job market:
