CA a-kasse is an unemployment fund which can provide you with unemployment benefits, if you lose your job or are unemployed after graduation.

Who can join CA a‑kasse?
CA a-kasse is an unemployment insurance fund for business professionals employed in:
Management - Consulting - Finance - Economics - Communication - Marketing - Sales - Procurement - Logistics - Business Administration - Human Resource Management - Information Technology - and other business related areas.
Your return on investment
Your monthly membership fee is DKK 444,00, if you have a membership on employee- or graduate-terms. Studentmembership is free of charge.
The unemployment benefits are 13,997 DKK per month if you're a graduate, and up to 17,073 DDK per month, if you have lost your job.

There are three ways to join up as a member of CA a-kasse - depending on your status on the jobmarket - whether you are a student, a graduate or already in a job.

|
You can join on employee-terms if you have or have had employment as a wage earner within the last 2 weeks
|
If you have joined the a-kasse on employee-terms, you are only entitled to benefits when you have been a member for 12 months and have worked for a period equivalent to 52 weeks’ fulll-time employment within a three-year period of membership.

|
You can join on graduate-terms, if you apply for membership within two weeks (14 days) of completing your education.

Membership on graduate-terms give you right to benefits just 1 month after graduation.

Student
|
You can join as a free student member if you are a student. Please read the terms.
|
Studentmembers have no rights to benefits. But if you have been a studentmember for at least one year before graduation and then switch to membership on graduate-terms, you'll be entitled to benefits from the first day after graduation. So studentmembership can give you benefits for 1 more month.
