If you work no more than 30 hours a week and do not wish to work more hours, you can be part-time insured.

If you work more than 30 hours a week, you cannot opt to be part-time insured, but must instead by full-time insured.

If you work part-time, you can opt to be full-time insured, but if you become unemployed, you must apply for full-time jobs and be capable of working 37 hours a week.
