Be Aware of Your Unemployment Benefit Eligibility

As a recent graduate, you may be entitled to unemployment benefits – the question is, when can you start receiving them?

1. Get unemployment benefits from day one: If you have been a member of CA for at least 12 months before completing your education, you can receive unemployment benefits from your very first day of unemployment.

2. Get unemployment benefits after one month: If you join no later than 14 days after completing your education, you can receive unemployment benefits after one month. This means you are still ensured financial security – just with a longer waiting period.

3. Remember to apply for unemployment benefits: Being a member is not enough – you must also actively apply for unemployment benefits once you graduate. This can be done through CA’s self-service, allowing you to secure financial support quickly and easily.

4. Register as unemployed with the job center: To receive unemployment benefits, you must be registered as unemployed on jobnet.dk from your first day of unemployment.
