Income Register

All Danish employers, businesses and paying authorities have an obligation to report taxable income for the individual citizen to a central register – the so-called Income Register.

The Register is administered by the Danish Customs and Tax Authority (SKAT) under the Danish Ministry of Taxation.

In practice, it means that we as an unemployment insurance fund do not need to ask you to submit pay slips as documentation for working periods and rights related to the unemployment insurance fund, but may request the information from the Danish Customs and Tax Authority via the Income Register.

All searches in the Income Register are logged automatically by the Danish Customs and Tax Administration - SKAT. You can therefore view the searches we have made in your data in connection with our case processing on your profile at SKAT.
